Baby Shower Invite

i'm so excited to throw a baby shower at my home for my friend jillian! we all know i love babies and parties so this is right up my alley! she isn't going to find out whether or not it's a boy or girl so we are doing a gender neutral, yellow and gray shower. i created the bunting in a microsoft word document using autoshapes and then used the new arrivals cricut cartridge to cut out the little onesies.


the ugly gray square below is me trying to hide my address from the world wide web:o)! i'm really excited about this shower because i'm going to try a few things i haven't done before...i hope it is oh so fun and special for jillian...it's such a celebratory time for her!!! there's nothing like that first little baby...it's this sunday so get excited!!!



i also wanted to share my favorite fall dessert with you: Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake

i like to make homemade whipped cream to accompany it, although it is fine on it's own! i whip heavy whipping cream in my mixer until it becomes creamy and add powdered sugar until it tastes sweet enough and peaks when i lift the mixer attachment...soooooo yummy....you'll never buy whipped cream from the store again once you taste this.
