Mini Session Giveaway!

Meet my dear friend Jill from Selah Photography:

"I started photographing small things for my college newspaper in 2000 and then everything took off from there. I was supposed to be a advertising executive, but this little outlet of creativity had other plans for me. It was truly an act of God to open my mind to the fact that I could do what I love AND make it my career. Here are the Top 5 Things that you need to know about Selah Photography and what we are all about.

5. I have photographed over 95 weddings through our studio. In that entire time, I can honestly say that there is not ONE “bridezilla” in the bunch. How blessed am I? I loved them all and most of them I still talk to as friends! (including Miss Lauren!)
4. I started out shooting on this little thing called FILM. It’s crazy that unless I teach them about it, my kids will have no clue what that is.
3. When people want a non-posey, totally candid photographer, I tell them that is not me. I believe that telling people how to look their best in a photograph is a must! After all, you don’t get photographed every day. However, we do let little kids go wild for a bit and totally leave room for crazy, spontaneous “posing”.
2. I absolutely would never want to have a video made of me getting children to look at the camera or smile. I resolve myself to the fact that I look absolutely ridiculous, but who cares? The kids love it!
1. The number one thing that you would want to know about Selah Photography is…. What does “Selah” mean? Yeah, that weird word in Psalms. It means to take a moment and reflect. That is what I believe photography should make you do. Stop and think!

Selah Photography Fall Mini Sessions:
*Harvest Session at Homestead Farms, October 15th
*Winter fun at the Barn, November 12th
*Urban Session, Downtown Fort Worth, December 11th
*These are 30 minute sessions that are personally styled for each family in the theme for that day. We will have time slots in the morning and the late afternoon. Our session stylist Lauren (that's me!) will call you to talk to you about clothing, props and everything else to make your Mini-Session amazing!

The winner of this giveaway will receive one, 30 minute family mini-session, photographed by Selah Photography and styled by Lauren Staats, along with a disc of 7 high resolution edited images from your photoshoot, value of $150. You can choose the Harvest, Winter, or Urban session. All sessions will be held in the Fort Worth area and you will be expected to arrive at your session 10 minutes early.
